Dr. Greene is a heart failure cardiologist and his research focuses on improving quality of care and outcomes for patients with heart failure.  His work includes leadership roles within multiple national and international heart failure registries characterizing the quality of heart failure care. These registry programs include the CHAMP-HF registry, American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines Heart Failure registry, the VICTORIA registry, and the CARE-HK in HF registry.  He is the coordinating center Principal Investigator for the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines Heart Failure registry. He has also been a co-investigator and co-author of multiple national and international heart failure trials studying medical therapies for heart failure, including the ASTRONAUT, SOCRATES-Reduced, COMPOSE, TRANSFORM-HF, and VELOCITY trials. Dr. Greene’s collaborative work has led to more than 400 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
